Sue,
Just wanted to drop you a note about Trouble. He has become a truly great hunting dog. The clients love him and he is just fantastic in the field now. All he needed was a couple of years in the field and a family that loves him. Thank you for producing this wonderful dog!

Hi!
Just writing to let you know how our first week with Brenna has been! As you can see from the photos, she is a beautiful puppy! We have had people stop their cars just to tell us what a good looking puppy she is! Gary is in love. He gets down on the floor or the grass with her when he comes home from work and plays with her. She adores him. I've seen him play with Brenna more than I have ever seen him play with the kids! ;) She's bold, smart, and very quick. I love my Hershey Bear, but I have a feeling Brenna is going to run rings around her!
She was following the kids around our pool one day, and fell in. ALL the way in, over her head! But she came up paddling, and the girls were right there when she came up to take her out. She just sat there, looking at the pool, trying to figure out whether she liked that or not. So I got out Hershey Bear, and started throwing a ball into the pool for her. Every time she'd bring the ball back, we'd all clap and make a big fuss. Pretty soon, Brenna was waiting by the steps for Hershey to come out. Hershey would even drop the ball for Brenna to play with!
Like our other black lab we had, Danika, she LOVES to play with the dust mop! Let me tell you, it's hard to play keep away from her! She's so agile and coordinated at such a young age! We have one cat who enjoys playing with puppies, and one who doesn't. They both get her riled up quick! She's not afraid of anything!
She has also discovered the kitchen. When I start to cook, she is my best friend. All those wonderful smells...she just doesn't understand why I won't give her anything! Of course if anything drops....well, I DO need help keeping my floor clean!
The collar you see in the picture is one Haley made especially for Brenna...I thought it looked good on her!
Well, better go, the kids are hungry! Thanks again for Brenna!

Hi Ron & Sue,
Just a note to let you know how "BURNS PURPLE ROSE" is doing.
Rose will be 4 years old Dec 28, 06. She is my near constant companion and I swear she talks to me with her eyes and grunts. In this picture she is busy talking to a pheasant. I think the bird said OH POOP!
Rose is so completely under control in the field that this year we will be guiding for other hunters. Rose is a flusher not a pointer, but her body language tells me she has a bird. Add to that a 75 pound Lab that stops on a dime with the whistle and you have the perfect hunting companion. Even some great photo ops!
If she get's any smarter, I'll be putting this picture on her drivers licenses.
